When the oldest cities of the world are mentioned then Malaga is there in the list. There are clear evidences that show Malaga to be one of the most ancient cities of the world. There are plenty of reasons for Malaga to be so old. Some of these may include the importance of locality and ideal living conditions in and around Malaga.

Malaga is capital of Costa del Sol in Spain. It is a great city because it’s a gateway to most of the places in Andalusia. The city has direct international flights from most of the countries of the world because of its great location and big airport. The airport of Malaga is one of the biggest airports in Spain and most travelers like to land directly in Malaga before visiting other cities of Spain for the same reasons.

An estimate shows that Malaga has more then ten million visitors from all over the world. These include visitors coming to the city for various purposes. One of the major reasons of such high ratio of visitors coming to the city is the great history of city. Along with that Malaga doesn’t look older and it’s very well maintained. It has everything that makes it modern in all aspects of development.

Humans belonging to different eras and races have ruled Malaga in History. Romans contributed a lot to the city and before them Carthaginians were settled in the city. Later Muslims and Christians contributed to Malaga in their reigns. In all the eras Malaga has received destruction and construction both. There have been advancements in the city made by the new arriving rulers. That shaped the city with wonderful architecture which is even present today in the city.

The old architectural buildings in Malaga are mostly of Neo-classical, Baroque and Renaissance styles. Alcazaba Cathedral, Malaga’s Castle vakantiehuizen spanje, Palacio de la Aduana and many other buildings are excellent examples of such styles. All of them are worth visiting for different reasons and they are worth seeing for their great style of architecture.

There are some beautiful museums in the city that are informative to visitors. Historians and history lovers can pay a visit to the museums of Malaga in order to learn more about the ancient history of the city. Apart from that there are many beautiful gardens in the city which are ancient as well as new. They all are worth paying a visit at least.
